Today (7/26) about 2:30 PM near the peak login time for SL, Hair Fair (SLURL) has about 35 people per region. This means you can get in easily.
So, the rush may be over. If you haven’t bought a new ‘do’, help the kids and buy one.
There is no roll out to the main channel this week. There is a package rolling to the RC channels Wednesday. This package is described as: Minor internal logging changes.
Sensual Summer
The main viewer is version 4.0.6.315555. No change since last week.
RC Second Life Maintenance Viewer version 4.0.7.317689 – This is a new version. Last week 4.0.7.317394.
Second Life Project Bento Viewer version 5.0.0.317597 – No change since last week. I doubt we will see any change until Vir Linden returns from vacation.
Second Life Project VLC Media Plugin Viewer version 4.0.6.316258 – No change.
Second Life Project VOB Viewer version 4.0.6.316422 – No change.
Rumor is there will be a Firestorm Viewer update yet this month.
I couldn’t make it to the Bento meeting this week. Inara did and wrote a good write up with audio bits: SL project updates 16 29/2: viewer, Bento week 20 with audio.
Vir Linden, lead on Project Bento, is on vacation this week and next. But, other Lindens from the project made it to the meeting.
Marine has released another couple of updates to the RLV viewer, 2.9.19 and 2.9.19.1. Also, there are some recommended changes to RLV itself. Marine has added some additional commands to the RLV process. See: RLV 2.9.19.
