Inara has an article up describing a new feature in the Black Dragon Viewer. See: Volumetric lighting: soon for SL? (Inara has a video of the feature)
Inara is speculating on whether this feature will make it into the SL Viewer. Her’s is educated speculation. She and Niran, the developer of Black Dragon, think it will make it into the SL Viewer.

Four years ago to the day, 3/3/2011, I posted about how to make a Second Life Forum Community Badge. The badges are, of course, shown in the Second Life Forum. See the example image.
The alternative is to show just the avatar profile picture.
At the time there was a problem and four years later it is still here. We probably need to file a new JIRA. Whatever, the problem only appears of you select one of the default ‘profile cards’ to use. There is no way to unselect using a card after that. You are doomed for life.

There are so many gorgeous images on Flickr. If you look through my favorites, you see the stuff I like. I think it is somewhat diverse. If you want to get your images on my blog or to understand why I use some people’s images and not others, read on.
Being short on time for writing my blog using images from Flickr saves me time. You have probably noticed lots of my images no longer relate to the article, other than they are from Second Life. Some I do take the time to find a related image. Even then it can be tenuous relationship. I suspect sometimes only my warped mind makes the connection.
