Second Life’s Friday TPV Meeting 1/30

…dn’t already know. The bug fixes in the maintenance package are extensive. Cocoa bugs/fixes are getting extensive QA work. We know little more than that in regard to Cocoa. I suspect we will have to wait for the release notes. There is discussion about doing something with Grid Status. The idea is to make it more visible. Perhaps something like what Firestorm does and put it on the splash screen. But, this is a more complex problem than mos… Continue reading

…RA item where one can comment. See: SUN-38 – As users of kneel/lay/sit animations and tiny/giant avatars, we need a way to change the body size in SSB sims. It would be easier for them to not have to support more than 3 versions. If you are running 4.5.1 Beta, it is going to be blocked soon. So, upgrade before you find yourself locked out of SL on that viewer. The code base for this release is sort of Linden 3.7.8. From this point forward it seems like it is going… Continue reading

…d to happen in a couple of weeks, so maybe week 39 or 40 work will resume. Cocoa Bugs Oz believes there is nothing left for the Lab to do with these issues. I think this means that most of the remaining problems are not so much SL Viewer problems as they are Mac problems. There are other Mac changes they will eventually get to. The Alt-Cam bug cannot be reproduced by the Lab. So, if you are experiencing the problem file a JIRA and document it in G… Continue reading
