The New Green Deal

ensuring that the Green New Deal mobilization creates high-quality union jobs that pay prevailing wages, hires local workers, offers training and advancement opportunities, and guarantees wage and benefit parity for workers affected by the transition;

In the US and especially California the unions have crippled our ability to improve our schools. It takes year to fire a convicted child molester.

A similar plan in action…

providing all people of the United States with—
(i) high-quality health care;
(ii) affordable, safe, and adequate housing;
(iii) economic security; and
(iv) access to clean water, clean air, healthy and affordable food, and nature.

AOC plans to save the world by having the government provide healthcare, housing, education, income, water, and ‘healthy’ food.

Sounds good. Haven’t we heard this before? Fidel Castro, Hugo Chaves, Maduro, 2001 Argentina’s de la Rúa, Mussolini, Hitler, Engels, and Marx…

You may want to compare the campaign promises of those I just listed, to those of AOC and the DNC.

The ‘deal’ states “no nuclear” in 10 years. I suggest you read Fusion Energy 2019. The one thing that could make our planet cleaner, she doesn’t seem to know about.

While you won’t find it in the ‘full text’ documents, if you can find the FAQ’s at a source you trust, you will find,

Why 100% clean and renewable and not just 100% renewable? Are you saying we won’t transition off fossil fuels?

Yes, we are calling for a full transition off fossil fuels and zero greenhouse gases. Anyone who has read the resolution sees that we spell this out through a plan that calls for eliminating greenhouse gas emissions from every sector of the economy. Simply banning fossil fuels immediately won’t build the new economy to replace it – this is the plan to build that new economy and spells out how to do it technically. We do this through a huge mobilization to create the renewable energy economy as fast as possible. We set a goal to get to net-zero, rather than zero emissions, in 10 years because we aren’t sure that we’ll be able to fully get rid of farting cows and airplanes that fast, but we think we can ramp up renewable manufacturing and power production, retrofit every building in America, build the smart grid, overhaul transportation and agriculture, plant lots of trees and restore our ecosystem to get to net-zero.”

Without referring to it AOC seems to have adopted many of the UN’s Agenda 21 plans. You should read Agenda 21 (300 pages) and pay attention to the footnotes and references. Then you’ll understand why people were talking about the plan to reduce population… by as much as 95% by 2030… ten years… hummmm. Think about what that would mean… what your city, town, neighborhood would look like… It isn’t going to happen. But, it is in the planning.

It may have gone past you… but AOC is on about eliminating cow farts (see FAQ’s). There are 94 million cows in the US (2014). There are 300+ million people in the US breathing out CO2 and farting. If we fart a third as much as a cow then we are an equal problem. Attaining some of the AOC goals will require a HUGE population reduction.

 Cost… Check the Washington Examiner for a reasonably unbiased report. From available numbers mostly supplied by Left and non-partisan sources (the Examiner provides their sources, something AOC doesn’t do in her FAQ’s). The number is up in the 100 trillion range. Obama doubled our debit in 8 years 10 trillion to 20. AOC will take us from 20 to likely over 100 trillion in 10 years.

High-speed rail from L.A. to San Francisco is a 10+ year project, incomplete, over budget, and the cost is now at $77 billion. Roughly 450 miles. The USA has 47,000 miles of Interstate highway and 164,000 miles in the National Highway System. (77,000,000,000/450 = 171 million per mile – 164,000×171,000,000 = 28 trillion…)

Give some serious thought to whether you believe what you’re being told by anyone and if you want to support AOC’s ideas.

To pay for all this AOC plans to print money. Look at 1930s Germany when Hitler did that and more recently 2001 Argentina, Venezuela… and others.

12 years of Socialist Policy at work

AOC may not be so tots smart…
