Second Life and Virtual Worlds
Monday was a US holiday, Labor Day. Many business are closed and that includes Linden Lab.
Last week in anticipation of the holiday the server news was posted. There would be no roll to the main channel and on Wednesday we get a roll to the RC channels.
The description of what it contains is brief: logging changes.
Marine has released another couple of updates to the RLV viewer, 2.9.19 and 2.9.19.1. Also, there are some recommended changes to RLV itself. Marine has added some additional commands to the RLV process. See: RLV 2.9.19.

Some third party viewers have new releases out. I’ve been meaning to mention that. I’m a little slow getting to it.
Alchemy 4.0.0-37571 shows as being released 6/26. Alchemy now uses automatic updating. It also adds a built-in Animation Override and ‘enhanced’ environment tools…
RLV = Restrained Love Viewer, formerly Restrained Life Viewer. But Linden Lab® thought that use of the word Life in the name infringed on or put at risk their Second Life™ trademark. So, they pushed on those developing RLV and it changed.
What RLV is, is a set of tools built into a viewer that extends what we can do with Second Life™. The RLV capable viewers have a way for users to program/control each other’s viewers. Just as the Lab’s Advanced Experience Tools (AET) allow a programmer to; attach a HUD to your viewer, teleport your avatar, and do other things without the normal user interaction. So too, RLV allows a programmer to do similar things with your viewer and avatar. The difference between AET and RLV is in the flavor and amount of control the user gives to a third party.
This release is a set of minor fixes, one of which is invisiprims.
