Myst-Uru 2014

…f which is whether it can legally be done. The best information we have is Cyan Worlds, the game’s owner, has decided none of the original content can be changed. But, on a practical aspect, some parts do have to be changed to allow new fan made ages/regions to be connected to the game. So, this becomes a debate about the degree of change to be allowed and may be allowed to make those changes. Also, since most of the legal issues are about distrib… Continue reading

Cyan Worlds’ Obduction July Release

Cyan Worlds is the maker of the Myst series of games. A couple of years ago they started a Kickstarter project named Obduction. Obduction will be the first PLAYABLE VR game released. During that time we’ve now got eight updates on the project. The eighth update tells us we are already playing the Obduction game… or can be. A previous hint… An email I received says: Obduction has already begun! We’re not talking about the Kickstarter campaign, or even the game production – the a… Continue reading

I suspect Cyan has made another fun game that includes all the social problems of previous Cyan games. It will be a play and drop type game. I suspect it will be gorgeous as most Cyan games are. They recommend a Nvidia GTX 980 or better to run the game and it will be VR compatible, which I suspect… Continue reading
