Today in the Sever-Scripting meeting Andrew announced he is leaving the Lab for Philip Rosedale’s High Definition Fidelity. He likes Second Life and has enjoyed working on it. But, he is ready for a change and really likes working with Philip.

Andrew Linden – Last Few Days
If you don’t know, Andrew is the oldest employee at the Lab. He was one of the first, if not the first, hire that Philip made when starting Second Life. His last day is this coming Thursday.
Andrew has been a big contributor to the Server-Scripting group. He will be greatly missed by many of us.
I find it funny that’s a ripped model of the Pokemon ‘Mewtwo’ from Super Smash Bros Melee in the background there. 😛
Oh and just a minor correction it’s High Fidelity, not High Definition.
I haven’t been too interested in HF, mostly because of the lack of juicy details. Andrew must see something I don’t, curious.
His work in SL will be missed though. With him leaves a lot of history. Good luck, Andrew!
Thanks, it is Fidelity…
Andrew has been fixing and adding to an old system. It would probably be an enjoyable change to get the legacy stuff out of the way and have a free development environment. I’m sad he is leaving, but happy for him.
