Danial Voyage has news from Insilico. Insilico sims have been granted a “new lease on life.” Digging around I find the story has been unfolding for several days. The best information I can find comes from some sites I trust and Skills her self.

EdelFabrik is having an Easter Ege Hunt. I runs from Saturday March 26 to Tuesday 29th.
For weeks there have been rumors and some confirmations of bannings and sim shutdowns. The subject came up in a recent interview with Ebbe Altberg, Linden CEO. We didn’t learn much as the Lab doesn’t talk about bans or ToS violations.

What Ebbe pointed out is that a person banned can say almost anything about the process. We have no way to fact check their claims because the other side, the Lab, is muted. Saying anything creates legal liability for the Lab, so…
I see there is a new promo video out for Second Life…
Doesn’t really do it for me… but, it is something.
It is splashing across the Second Life™ blogosphere that the Lab published an announcement: Faster Credit Processing & Upcoming Changes to Fees. The Lindens think 75% of the SL users taking money out will be able to do so in 2 days, working days.
Fees are going up. You can read the announcement to see why, but the info is:
As of April 5, 2016, instead of charging a flat fee of $1 (USD) per transaction, we will charge a fee of 1.5% of the transaction value, with a minimum fee of $3 (USD) and a maximum of $15 (USD). Additionally, the fee for purchasing L$ on the LindeX will increase 10¢, from $0.30 (USD) to $0.40 (USD) per transaction.
