Second Life Wiki is editable now. That changed a week or so ago. But, in the process we lost a lot of newer wiki pages. Plus lots of people were waiting to update information on various subjects in the wiki. So, far the last few days I’ve seen a lot of activity in the wiki. In the last 24 hours about 600 pages have been added or edited.
Release Notes for the Experience Tools Viewer (3.8.0-298001) popped back up today. The page includes a link for the viewer.
The Alternate SL Viewers page has updated a couple of times. So, there are now entries for:
- RC Experience Viewer version 3.8.0.298001
- Project Hover Height Viewer version 3.7.25.298129
- Project Managed Marketplace Viewer version 3.7.21.296858
- Project Oculus Rift Viewer version 3.7.18.295296
Firestorm Wiki
Speaking of wiki changes… The Firestorm wiki has just updated their information on ATI video cards. See: AMD/ATI Video Card Specifics. Lots of people are having problems with the new AMD/ATI drivers. The Firestorm site recommends staying with or rolling back to version Catalyst 14.4.
You may be able to use a newer driver. But, if you have problems 14.4 would be the one to roll back to.
