Last night I wrote my update for servers and viewers for week #23 and scheduled it for 6AM this morning. This morning at 7 AM I find new viewers on the RC and Project Viewers page.
Second Life Project VLC Media Plugin Viewer version 4.0.6.316087 – This viewer completely removes the need for QuickTime… well, maybe more accurately… removes the code that tried to run an Apple abandoned and broken QuickTime.
Update: Already out of date… writing 7AM PT… check back in an hour.
Tuesday will see the rollout of the package previously running on the RC channels. The project adds mnemonic names for the new Bento attachment points to LSL scripting. Plus some minor internal changes.
Wednesday a new package will roll out to the three RC channels. All we know about this package is: minor internal changes.

Minor updates 2022/04
Calla Cela got settings for her NVIDIA card, specifically her 970, from NVIDIA tech support. She made this handy video. Using it I decided to check my settings it has been forever since I looked at them. zOMG! When the Lindens changed the install folder name, (like L O N G ago) my SL setup apparently went away…
There are some gotcha’s in her video. Nothing wrong. Just some places where you are likely to hit a wall.
