No Deploys post this week. Rider Linden at the Server-Scripting UG told us, “So, The internal fixes on the RCs from last week should be rolling to the main grid this week. Snack is getting a new roll that we hope will address some of the region crossing issues.

Release notes are on the way.  We’ve made some changes on the back end with respect to message reliability that we are hoping makes the transitions a bit more reliable.

If I understand… (if I’m not making sense, that is because I’m not making sense. Medical drugs and lack of good sleep. Bronchitis.) The region crossing related change roll out on AGNI in the Snack RC regions.

Rider, “Also, the name functions are available on my testing regions on Aditi.  (Sylveon, Leafeon, etc).

I think these are the new functions for names from UUID and UUID from name. I doubt you can change your name.

Mazidox Linden, “There is a bunch of regions around a region called “Est Full2” on Aditi that have the relevant code to test region crossing.

Winters back… Run!

As it is the underlying system that allows Friend Requests can fail in several ways, it may take some time to fix the problem as it is a base system.

Oz Linden: The test channels [on ADITI] have the new improved throttles for LSL HTTP-in that I’ve discussed on the forums (and documented on the wiki)

Rider Linden: Those [test channels] are currently available on Aditi: Umbreon and the adjoining region.  But Mazidox may have put them on other regions as well.

It is Tuesday (well, would have been if I had remembered to post this…) and the main channel was updated to version #18.03.14.513292. The changes are the ever-occurring Internal fixes then logging to help diagnose an issue with in-world HTTP servers returning HTTP 503 (BUG-214702), adding a new capability to request IMs that were delivered to the requesting agent while the agent was offline, and adding a new capability to request the most up to date list of abuse report categories.

Wednesday, the Blue Steel channel will be updated with version #18.03.17.513365, ‘internal changes’.

Le Tigre and Magnum may get an update. The Lindens had not decided on a version as I write this. But it went to the main channel and may remain in these RC channels.
