Loki Machinima

Loki has tried a new style of machinima. You can see it in his blog. This machinima is made in the anima style, something rare for SL. He did a good job. I’m impressed. It is short and, I think, corny. But, I think both were intended. Whatever the intent, it is cute. 

Heard Around the VW

Invisible Avatar Bug

BUG-8769 – Avatar does not load up some times. In viewer Second Life 3.7.26 (299610) Mar 5 2015 – RC Maintenance version, this is a known bug. You can relog to clear it.

To stay away from the bug bites, change to another RC viewer or the Main viewer.

Mystic Places

This is a Tumbler feed  run by a Myst (the 1990’s game) fan. There are posts of places that look like places in the game of Myst. Today I found an interesting video there.

I’ve seen this cave before. But, it is too good not to share again and the video via a drone is new.

Experience Tools

The beta testers are talking a bit about what is going on with those tools. It seems they are testing grid wide Experience Keys, Parcel Experience Permissions, Estate Experience Permissions (I’m thinking multi-region but short of grid wide),  and some measure of free Experience Keys for Premium members. No one is sure exactly what the Lindens have in mind or how it all fits together or what is  in Phase I and to be in Phase II.

Cyber Sex

Lindal Kidd has an article up titled Kinky Pixels. It is about sex in the virtual world… more precisely the types available in our strange as life world.

If you think you are sexually free and have a good knowledge of sex… test what you know against Lindal’s list of kink in Second Life. I was totally mistaken about what FinDom is… I keep seeing it as F E M when it is F I N.

And there are a couple that are just WAY out of my reach. As Lindal describes them, “Ewwwww!”
