Second Life: Project Arousal v1.0683 – 2026

How Things Work

The HUD when fully open looks like this:

Just experiment with it. Click everything. I’ve already written more than 600 words… explaining is tedious and I think experimenting is more fun and you’ll learn faster.

Getting Started (Don’t Wing It!)

Do not grab someone for sex and then try to figure this out. Bad idea. Using PA is tricky, especially if your partner doesn’t have it. It helps a ton if both of you have RLV enabled. Skip the “On Ask” level—go for auto-accept (or equivalent) to keep things smooth.Ask someone to help you learn. Be upfront: let them know this is an experiment, not just pure lust (unless it actually is—then play whatever angle works!). Otherwise, it’ll feel like a guy with a new penis who can’t figure out how to… you know… get it up. No, no, you gotta click… never mind.

WARNING

Project Arousal is mainly about controlling your avatar (arousal, animations, etc.). To animate your partner too, you need Project Sex2 (around L$2,500). Yikes—pricey! I’m all for free markets, but this feels steep.

That said, there’s a “Sizer” feature in the packages. It picks animations based on small, medium, or large avatar sizes—not about perfect genital alignment (that’s on him to get right). The variety of animations justifies some of the cost… probably not outrageous.

Leveling Up

First big skill: connecting with a partner.

There’s a Guest HUD for Project Sex 2 (costs L$1—super cheap). Gift it to your partner. It lacks some spontaneity, and I think it used to be free in older PA/PS packages. But unless SL women are way more promiscuous than I think, Caeil isn’t getting rich off L$1 HUDs.Various packs and add-ons exist for PA and PS. A voice pack is worth it—PA’s default “anima” voice is squeaky and annoying (not my vibe). Good Moaning offers better voices (duplicates of their HUD voices). Grab a demo of their HUDs first to preview sounds.

Voice setup gets tricky: PA handles breathing, moaning, and intense climaxes (whoa—no one’s asking “Was it good for you?”). Good Moaning does escalating breathing but no climaxes. I prefer mixing both HUDs. PA lets you control volume per group separately, so blending is doable with practice.

With time, you’ll rely less on menus and more on keys. Check the HUD—the WASD + E/C keys control animations and fine-tune positions.
