The main viewer remains version 5.1.2.512803, which came on week #10. 

Second Life Love Me Render Viewer version 5.1.3.514115 – This viewer has updated from version 5.1.3.513005 which arrived in week #10.

Second Life Maintenance Viewer version 5.1.3.514128 – This view also updated. Previously version 5.1.3.513630 released I n week #12.

Second Life Media Update Viewer version 5.1.3.513644 – Released week #14.

Second Life Project 360 Snapshot Viewer version 5.1.3.513006 – Last updated in week #10.

Second Life Project Animesh Viewer version 5.1.3.513013 – Last updated in week #11.

Second Life Project Bakes On Mesh Viewer version 5.1.3.513936 – Last updated in week #14. See the long article on Bakes On Mesh or the shorter description of Bakes On Mesh Viewer. The release notes have about all the tech info the Lab has out now.

There is a set of discussion threads in the section Bakes On Mesh Feedback in the SL Forum. If you have questions, check the posts by Alexa and Vir Linden. Also, Cathy Foil has been experimenting so she has good information. There are others that have some really bad information completely off track. They obviously haven’t been experimenting. They just want to be negative and seem to be basing opinions on what is possible from their imagining what Bakes On Mesh to be.

Strawberry Singh has a good step-by-step on how to play with Bakes On Mesh now. If you use the Project Viewer, you’ll find it works everywhere. See Second Life Project BakesOnMesh. A video is at the end.

Strawberry thinks Appliers will be totally obsolete. But, that ignores Materials, which are not currently handled in this iteration of BoM. Strawberry mentions that.

Siddean’s article made an interesting distinction I find to be exceptionally true. Those that understand Bakes On Mesh are excited about it and looking forward to it. Those that don’t, aren’t.
