No deploy to the main channel this week. The 3 RC channels are all getting the same package, which has a server crash fix and minor internal improvements.

Not much to go on…

Other News

The Lab has announced another Lab Chat. Ebbe, Oz, and Troy Linden will be at this one. Project Bento is the targeted subject. But, they are taking questions posted in this thread: Lab Chat Returns May 6th, 2016 with Ebbe, Oz, & Troy Linden!

The meeting in-world will be here: Linden Endowment for the Arts Theatre. Time: 10:30 AM SLT.

There will be an audio recording made. It will be available shortly after the meeting.

Sansar Opens

This is news that seems to be running through some part of the gaming world. As best I can tell it is inaccurate and a misunderstanding on the part of most of those reporting the news from the Collision Conference, which is said to be a fast growing tech conference held  in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA that is supposed to be replacing CES and SXSW. Right…

The Lab apparently made a press release for the conference… or the conference picked up on it… or whatever. Jo Yardley has sane coverage: Linden Lab opens applications for Project Sansar.

The ‘opening’ is the one we have heard Ebbe talking about for months and we expect sometime this summer. The only bit of real news may be that the Lab has opened up the application process for summer admission.

The second most informative article I found is here: Linden Lab wants users to create social experiences in virtual reality world.
